Is a transfer from Santa Barbara City
College… Spent three years on the football team in high
school, where they won three straight Moore league
championships… Also played on two CIF Championship teams
and on National Championship team… Most memorable
moments were playing in the CIF Championship game
against Mater Del High that ended in a tie and when he
posted five tackles, two forced fumbles, 1½ sacks and
three quarterback hurries against Los Angeles Pierce
College last season… Is also working on a minor in
kinesiology and would like to transfer to either San
Diego State or UCLA… Is related to Tone Taupule, who is
a starting strong safety at the University of Idaho…
Plays the bass guitar for his church and sings in the
choir… Nicknamed “D”… Has two siblings – Sam Eliu (21)
and Tabitha Eliu (8)… Is the son of Sili and Anna Eliu…
