Lakewood HS: Named the Press Telegram Athlete of the Month his senior year… Helped his team reach the CIF Playoffs three years in a row and they advanced to the semi-finals his sophomore year… Caught 35 passes and had eight touchdowns as a senior after pulling in 19 passes for one score as a junior… Recorded 16 catches and two touchdowns his sophomore year, while he had 21 pass receptions and five touchdowns on the junior varsity team as a freshman… Team won the Moore League title that year… Also spent two years on the track team and one on the soccer team…..
