Paramount HS: Was a three-time 1^st Team All-San Gabriel Valley League selection on defense, while he earned all-league recognition as an offensive lineman his junior and senior years… Voted his team’s Defensive Lineman of the Year as a senior after being named to the Press Telegram Dream Team as a junior… Recorded 80 tackles to go along with seven quarterback sacks, five forced fumbles and scored three touchdowns as a senior… Finished with 69 stops, eight sacks and scored three touchdowns his junior season… Garnered the team’s Most Improved Player and Hardest Hitter Award his sophomore year after posting 84 tackles and nine quarterback sacks… As a freshman, he was voted the team’s Most Valuable Player and had 71 tackles…..
