Was the back-up quarterback and appeared in six
games… Completed 32-of-56 passes for 428 yards
and six touchdowns, while he threw three
interceptions… Had a quarterback rating of
145.99… Also rushed nine times for 36 yards,
with a long of 22 yards… Started the game
against Santa Ana College and completed 17-of-27
passes for 181 yards and a season-high three
touchdowns… Threw two of his touchdowns in
overtime… Also passed for 54 yards on 4-of-8
tosses with along of 38 yards… Completed 3-of-7
passes for 74 yards and a touchdown against West
Los Angeles College…
El Rancho HS:
Was a two-time 1st Team All-Del Rio
League selection at both quarterback and
linebacker… Also named 1st Team
All-Area after passing for 800 yards and rushing
for 750 yards in his senior year… Threw for
seven touchdowns and rushed for seven more as a
senior, while he collected 46 tackles on
defense…..
Personal:
Most memorable moment was when he rushed for
three touchdowns and threw for one more against
California High his junior year… Also had three
quarterback sacks and two forced fumbles in the
game… Would like to transfer to any Division I
program and aspires to be a physical education
teacher and football coach… Enjoys PS2 in his
spare time… Nicknamed “A.J.”… Has two brothers –
Charlie (23) and Albert (17), who is on the
football, baseball and golf teams at El Rancho
High… Is the son of Augie and Liz Toscano… Born
in Bellflower, CA on February 15, 1988….. |
