The season opener for the Cerritos College football
team, which was originally scheduled to be played at
Compton College at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 1,
has been moved to Cabrillo High School in Long Beach.
The game will now be played at 7:00 p.m. on the same
day. The reason for the switch in location was due to
the poor playing conditions at Compton College. There
was talk of where the game was going to be moved to,
with conversations that the game might be played at
Falcon Stadium. But the final decision came from the
administration at Compton College that the game will now
be played at Cabrillo High. The high school is located
at 2001 Santa Fe Ave. and can be reached by exiting
Pacific Coast Highway off the 710 Freeway and then go
west before going north onto Santa Fe Ave. |
