Now starting his first
year coaching with the Falcons, Art
Dominguez will be in charge of the wide
receivers. A local product with 28 years of
coaching experience, Dominguez comes to
Cerritos College after spending the last
four seasons as the wide receivers coach at
Orange Coast College, where he helped them
to two post-season bowl games.
A graduate of John Glenn
High School, Dominguez played both football
and baseball. He went on to Cal State Long
Beach, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts
degree in Physical Education with a minor in
Biology in 1983.
His coaching career
covers both four-year universities,
community college and high school, as he
spent time coaching at Cal State Long Beach
(1985-86) and the University of New Mexico
(1987-88). His high school coaching career
has seen him with at St. John Bosco High,
Brea-Olinda High, John Glenn High, Santa Ana
Valley High and Century High. Dominguez also
spent one year coaching in Finland.
