Long Beach Wilson HS: Posted 144 tackles as a senior and was named his team’s Defensive Player of the Year, as well as 1^st Team All-Moore League… Had 86 stops and an interception as a junior to earn Linebacker of the Year honors and be named 2^nd Team all-league… Was also a 2^nd Team all-league selection as a sophomore after finishing with 79 tackles… Finished with 80 tackles as a freshman to earn the Coaches Award… Was also on the track and field team as a sophomore and helped them win the league title that year…..
