Cerritos (2007): Appeared in five games and finished the year with 18 tackles… Started the final game of the season against Pasadena City College and led the team with 11 stops… Also picked off a pass and returned it 25 yards against Mt. San Antonio College… Is expected to be a starter this season…..

La Mirada HS: Named All-Suburban League and All-Area as a senior after posting 96 tackles, to go along with three forced fumbles, two quarterback sacks and an interception… Had 50 stops, six pass breakups and two interceptions his junior season… Earned all-league recognition as a sophomore after finishing with 69 tackles… Named the team’s Iron Man as a freshman, as they team won the league title and he finished with 50 tackles and four forced fumbles… Also spent two seasons on the track and field team and specialized in the 200 meters and 400 meters… Helped the team win the league title and ran a leg of the 400-meter relay team that reached the CIF Finals…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he had 15 tackles, three tackles for loss, two pass breakups and blocked a field goal against Long Beach Jordan High to help win the game… Would like to transfer to any school that gives him a chance to play and aspires to be a football coach and PE teacher… Likes to play Madden ’09 in his spare time… His brother, Mike (24), played football and Buena Park High… Has one other sibling – Syreeta (26)… Nicknamed “J-Lo”… Is the son of Michael Lomeli and Ida Gasso… Born in Anaheim, CA on May 23, 1989…..
