St. John Bosco HS: Named 2^nd Team All-Trinity League… Voted his team’s Lineman of the Year and also earned the Captain’s Award… Recorded 12 pancake blocks as a senior after finishing with 10 as a junior… Helped the freshman team win the league championship…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he had two pancake blocks on the opening drive against defending CIF Champion Orange Lutheran High that resulted in a touchdown… Would like to transfer to any school that is willing to pay for his education and lets him play football… His cousin Monique Mejia played softball at UCLA from 2002-06… Likes to play baseball in his spare time… Nicknamed “Rube”… Has one sister – Ariana (14)… Is the son of Ruben and Helen Mejia… Born in Lakewood, CA on July 5, 1990…..
