Gahr HS: Was a two-time All-San Gabriel Valley League selection… Also earned All-CIF honors as a senior and All-Area recognition as a sophomore… Spent three years on the football team and led them to the CIF semi-finals one year… Also competed on the track and field, basketball and baseball teams… While in track, he won the league championship in the 100 meters as a junior and senior, while he placed second in the 200 meters his junior season… Was also a CIF finalist as a sophomore…..
