Cerritos (2007):
Named 2nd Team All-Mission Conference
National Division… Played at linebacker last
season and is being moved to defensive end…
Finished the season third on the team with 55
tackles and also led the team with 10
quarterback hurries and 8.5 tackles for loss…
Also added two quarterback sacks and an
interception… Had a season-high 10 tackles
against Riverside College, while he also posted
eight stops against both Ventura College and
Santa Ana College… Had his best game of the
season against Riverside, with 4.5 tackles for
loss and both of his sacks…..
Long Beach Jordan HS:
Was a two-time All-CIF selection… Named
All-Moore League as a senior after recording 101
tackles, along with 10 quarterback sacks… Had 80
stops and six sacks his junior year and also
played his sophomore and freshman seasons…
Earned all-league recognition as a sophomore
after finishing with 70 tackles… Was the
league’s Player of the Year on the freshman
team…..
Personal:
Most memorable moment was when his team defeated
Paramount High… His brother, Kalii (20) also
played football in high school… Aspires to be a
fire fighter… Likes to hang out with teammate
Junior Tivao in his spare time… Has four other
siblings – Vera (15), Beth (12), Kyle (8) and
Elaine (4)… Is the son of Andy and Alofa
Puletasi… Born in Samoa on February 25, 1989….. |
