Norwalk HS: Named his school’s Athlete of the year, as well as the football team’s Offensive Player of the Year… Rushed for 1600 yards as a senior and helped the team advance to the CIF semi-finals… Was voted 1^st Team All-Suburban League… While playing in defense as a junior, he picked off three passes and brought one back for a touchdown… As a freshman, he played for the Orange County Junior All-American Football team… Spent three years on the football and track and field teams… While in track, he won the LA County championship and the league championship in the 200 meters… Also won the league championship in the long jump and was voted his team’s Most Valuable Athlete… As a junior, he received the team’s Most Valuable Sprinter, Most Inspirational and Most Improved awards… Also spent a year on the basketball team…..
