Cerritos (2008): Selected 1^st Team All-National Division Central Conference as a punter… Averaged 42.3 yards on 15 punts with a long of 62 yards… Punting average set a new school record… Sent five of those punts inside the 20-yard line… Completed his only pass (for 16 yards) on a fake punt… Also started six games at defensive end, while he appeared in all 11 games… Registered 40 tackles and added seven tackles for loss (42 yards) and five quarterback sacks for 32 yards… Posted eight quarterback hurries, three pass breakups, forced fumble, fumble recovery and intercepted a pass, while brining it back 17 yards… Had a season high seven tackles against Palomar College in the Golden Dome Bowl, while he also posted four stops against Santa Monica, Long Beach City, Ventura, Citrus and College of the Desert… Had his lone interception against Citrus and a season-high two sacks and two tackles for loss against Long Beach City… Recorded the team’s lone safety against East Los Angeles…..

Cerritos Track & Field (2009): Placed fifth in the state championships in the discus and the shot put… Won the South Coast Conference championship in the discus… Holds the fifth-best discus throw in school history at 148’ 7”…..

Lakewood HS: Named to the Press Telegram Dream Team as a senior, while earning 1^st Team All-Moore League honors… Was also his team’s punter and was voted their Special Teams Player of the Year…Also earned the Coaches Award… Spent three years on the football team and four on the track and field team… Helped the track team to the league championship his senior season…..
