North Torrance HS: Named the Pioneer League Most Valuable Player his senior year after passing for 2,400 yards and 28 touchdowns, while rushing for 850 yards and nine touchdowns… Also named All-CIF, All-Area and 1^st Team all-league… Threw for 1,400 yards and 10 scores his junior season and was selected all-league and was voted his team’s Most Valuable Player… Voted the team’s MVP as a sophomore and was the Offensive Player of the Year his freshman year… Spent two seasons on the basketball team and was selected the league’s Most Outstanding Player, as well as All-CIF, All-Area and all-league…..
