Bell HS: Voted 1^st Team All-Eastern League as a linebacker his senior year after finishing with 67 tackles… Also selected his team’s Most Valuable Player… As a junior, he was a 1^st Team all-league choice at defensive end when he recorded 43 tackles and one quarterback sack… Named 1^st Team all-league as a sophomore at offensive guard, but also played defense and posted 47 tackles… Spent three years on the wrestling team and finished with a combined 93-13 record…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he recorded 23 tackles and 1½ sacks against South Gate High… Would like to transfer to Michigan State University and aspires to be either an English teacher or a detective… His older brother David (28) played football for the Falcons, while he comes from a family that plays sports… Likes to play golf in his spare time… Nicknamed “Lulu”… Has four other siblings – Mike (23), Elvia (16), Maria (14) and Angel (9)… Is the son of Juan Lucero and Socorro Ortiz… Born on January 30, 1991…..
