Cerritos (2008): Is vying for the starting position this season… As a back-up last year, he appeared in six games and completed 13-of-28 passes for 175 yards, with two touchdowns and two interceptions… Threw for 91 yards on 7-of-10 passing against East Los Angeles and a touchdown, while he followed that with 70 passing yards against Santa Monica…..

La Habra HS: Was a 1^st Team All-CIF, 1^st Team All-Area and 1^st Team All-Freeway League selection as a senior… Helped his team win the CIF Championship and league title that year and passed for 2,500 yards and 31 touchdowns… Was named the North-South All-Star Game Most Valuable Player… As a junior, he was named the 1^st Team all-league and his team’s Offensive Player of the Year after throwing for 2,300 yards and 31 touchdowns… Was coached by Frank Mazzotta, Jr, who played and coach for Cerritos College and is the son of Falcon football coach Frank Mazzotta… Spent three years on the football and baseball teams… Batted .320 as a senior after hitting .290 his junior season…..
