La Mirada HS:
Spent three years on the football team and four
on the track and field team… Earned the Hammer
Hit Player of the Year Award as a sophomore and
was the team’s Most Improved Player as a
freshman… While on the track team, he was voted
the team’s Most Valuable Player as a senior and
placed 18th in the CIF Finals in the
discus… Was named All-Suburban League as a
freshman, sophomore and junior…..
Personal:
Is working on a minor in sports medicine and
would like to transfer to either San Diego State
University or Arizona State University… Aspires
to be either a sports analyst or a professional
trainer… Father was an All-American discus
thrower at Cal State Long Beach… Nicknamed “Big
Country”… Has one sister – Katie (14)… Is the
son of Scott and Ginny Reid… Born in Long Beach,
CA on July 2, 1991….. |
