Cerritos (2008):
Named 1st Team All National
Conference Central Division… Voted the team’s
Offensive Player of the Year… Caught a
school-record 50 passes for 661 yards and nine
touchdowns… His receiving yards were the
seventh-most in school history… Caught a
season-high 10 passes for 106 yards against Long
Beach City… The 10 receptions were the
second-most in a game in school history… Had a
pair of touchdown receptions against Santa
Monica, College of the Desert and Mt. San
Antonio… Pulled in a touchdown pass in each of
the last five games of the season…..
La Mirada HS:
Pulled in 47 passes for 860 yards as a senior
and was named to the Press Telegram Dream
Team… Also selected 1st Team All-Area
and 1st Team All-Suburban League…
Carried the ball 16 times for 150 yards and
recorded 16 tackles and two interceptions on
defense… Did not play his junior year… Had 48
catches for 664 yards and five scores as a
sophomore to earn All-Area and all-league
honors… Pulled in 52 passes for 450 yards as a
freshman and was named the team’s Most Valuable
Player, while they also won the league title…
Also played basketball and was a 2nd
Team all-league selection as a sophomore…..
Personal:
Most memorable moment was when he had 12 catches
for 197 yards and two touchdowns against
Cerritos High his sophomore year… Also included
a key fourth down catch in overtime his
sophomore year in the CIF Playoffs to help beat
Bonita High… Would like to transfer to any
Division I school… Father played football at
Colorado State University… Likes to play
football in his spare time, along with playing
with his son, Esaiah… Nicknamed “J-Rob”… Has six
siblings – Gilbert (22), Charles (18), Marina
(16), Marcellus (15), Trey (13) and Max (2)… Is
the son of Orlando Robbins and Angelina Madrid…
