Named 2nd Team All-Northern Division
Central Conference… Finished the season with 35
tackles, along with eight tackles for loss (37
yards) and led the team with nine quarterback
hurries… Also posted 3½ quarterback sacks, two
pass break-ups and a forced fumble… Recorded a
season-high five tackles against Chaffey College
and College of the Desert… Also had two tackles
for loss and a sack against Chaffey, while he
posted a season high 1½ sacks against East Los
Angeles College…
Long Beach Poly HS:
Was a member of the CIF Championship team as a
senior… Named to the Press Telegram Dream
Team, as well as All-CIF and 1st Team
All-Moore League… Posted 138 tackles on the
year, along with 13 tackles for loss and six
quarterback sacks… Team also won the league
championship… Spent just one year on the
football team…..
Personal:
Most memorable moment was when he had five
tackles and two tackles for loss against Ventura
College last year and when he posted six tackles
and two tackles for loss in the CIF Championship
game… Would like to transfer to any PAC-12
school… His brother Wilson will be a teammate
this season… Is married and has a son… Likes to
play Modern Warfare II in his spare time…
Nicknamed “Superman 96”… Is the son of Talalelei
and Salome Edwards… Born in American Samoa on
August 16, 1990….. |
