Was a 1st Team All-Moore League selection
as a senior after averaging 17 points and 16 assists
a game… Also voted his team’s Most Valuable Player
and Best Defensive Player… Team named him their Most
Improved Player his junior year after scoring eight
points with 12 assists a game… Selected the top
freshman guard in California, as he scored 10 points
and handed out 12 assists a game, followed by a
sophomore year when he dished off 10 assists a game
and scored 12 points a game… Most memorable moment
was when he scored 28 points against Long Beach Poly
High and when he scored the game-winning basket on a
three-pointer against Long Beach Jordan High… Is
working on a minor is music… His brother, Marcellus
(36), played football at the University of Colorado…
Likes to rap in his spare time… Nicknamed “Rells”…
Has another brother – Mario (34)… Is the son of
Robert and Gwen Elder… Born in Long Beach, CA on
December 12, 1987….. |
