Was a red-shirt last season… High school team won
three San Gabriel Valley League championships in
four seasons… Named all-league his freshman,
sophomore and senior years… Averaged 11.5 points and
six rebounds a game as a senior after scoring 15
points and pulled down eight rebounds a game his
junior season… While on the junior varsity team as a
sophomore, he scored 20 points a game… Also spent
two seasons on the football team and they went 22-0
and won the CIF Championship… Most memorable moments
are when he scored 24 points and grabbed eight
rebounds a game in basketball and when he hit the
game-winning basket in another game… Is also working
on a minor in business and would likes to transfer
to any major Division I school… Is related to Marcus
Ferguson, who played basketball at Verbum Dei high
school, Clarence Johnson, who played basketball at
the University of Maryland, while his father, Don
Ferguson, played football at USC… Likes to play
basketball and sing in his spare time… Nicknamed
“Rockhead”… Has six siblings - Byron (37), Ruthie
(31), Marcus (25), Donna (23), Tana (20) and Sam
(15)… Is the son of Don and Marilyn Ferguson… Born
in Downey, CA on November 21, 1987….. |
