Bellflower HS:
Attended Long Beach City College out of high
school, but did not play basketball… Was a
four-year Scholar-Athlete… Also named 1st
Team All-Suburban League as a junior and senior,
while he was voted the team’s Most Outstanding
Player as a sophomore… Helped the team win the
league championship as a freshman… Averaged 20
points, five rebounds, four assists and four
steals as a senior… Accounted for 13 points,
four rebounds, four assists and three steals his
junior year… While on the junior varsity team
his sophomore season, he scored 20 points a game
after averaging 30 points a game as a freshman…
Voted the team’s Most Valuable Player as a
freshman… Also played on the football team and
was a member of the track and field team…..
Personal:
Most memorable moment was when he scored 25
points with seven assists, five rebounds and
five steals his senior year against Villa Park
High… Would like to transfer to either the
University of Arizona or the University of
Washington… Aspires to be a sports medicine
doctor… His brother Ben (21) played basketball
at Rio Hondo College… Nicknamed “Weezy”… Is the
son of Cheryl Chapman… Born in Long Beach, CA on
January 23, 1988….. |
