Was a 1st Team All-South Coast
Conference South Division selection… Also voted
the team’s Most Valuable Player… Appeared in 33
games and started 30 times… Was second on the
team with a 13.0 scoring average, while he also
was second with a 6.2 rebounding average…
Finished third with 74 assists and 38 steals…
Connected on 53% of his shots (160-of-305) and
converted 100-of-137 (73%) of his free throws…
Scored in double figures 21 times, including
scoring over 20 five times… Scored 24 points
with 14 rebounds against Rio Hondo College and
followed that with a 28-point, 14-rebound
performance against College of the Canyons… Also
scored 26 points against both Los Angeles
Trade-Tech College and Long Beach City College…
Dished out a season-high seven assists against
Los Angeles Harbor College…..
Washington Prep HS:
Spent two years on the varsity basketball team,
along with playing volleyball and football… As a
senior, he was named All-Marine League, All-City
and was voted his team’s Most Inspirational
Player, while they won the league championship…
Averaged 19.5 points, six rebounds and four
assists a game as a senior… Was an All-League
honorable mention selection his junior season
when he scored 17 points, to go along with seven
rebounds and five assists a game… Voted the
team’s Most Improved Player… Team voted him
their Most Valuable Player as a sophomore after
he averaged 12 points, five rebounds and three
assists a game…..
Personal:
Most memorable moment was when he scored 37
points with 11 rebounds, seven assists and three
steals in his senior year against Carson High…
Likes to work out, hang out with friends and
family and listen to music in his spare time…
