Cerritos Swimming (2009):
Placed 11th in the 1650-yard
freestyle at the South Coast Conference
Championships, along with a 15th
place finish in the 200-yard freestyle and was
16th in the 500-yard freestyle… Also
competed in the 50-yard freestyle, 100-yard
freestyle and 1650-yard freestyle during the
season…..
Cerritos Swimming (2008):
Competed in the 50-yard freestyle, 100-yard
freestyle, 200-yard freestyle, 500-yard
freestyle, 1650-yard freestyle, 100-yard
backstroke, as well as swimming a leg of the
200-yard and 800-yard freestyle relays…..
Cerritos Water Polo (2008):
Appeared in 17 games… Scored 10 goals, along
with 10 assists and seven steals… Had a goal and
assist in the team’s win over Chaffey College
during the South Coast Conference Tournament…
Scored a season-high two goals and had three
assists and a steal against Sierra College… Also
had two goals and two steals against Merced
College…
Cerritos Water Polo (2007):
Saw action in eight games… Scored five goals,
with three assists and five steals… Recorded two
goals with two steals against Los Angeles
Trade-Tech College… Scored once with two assists
and a steal against Sierra College…..
Kennedy HS:
Did not compete in cross country… As a senior on
the water polo team, he was named 1st
Team All-Empire League and voted his team’s Most
Valuable Player… Scored 89 goals on the year…
Earned 1st Team all-league
recognition his junior year when he scored 57
goals… As a sophomore, he tallied 39 goals and
was a 2nd Team all-league selection,
while he was the junior varsity team’s MVP as a
freshman and scored 15 goals… Spent four years
on the swim team and specialized in the 100-yard
freestyle… Was the junior varsity soccer team’s
MVP as a freshman...…
Personal:
Most memorable moment was when he scored seven
goals against Loara High his sophomore year and
helping his team advance to the CIF Playoffs for
the first time… Aspires to join the United
States Coast Guard and be a rescue swimmer…
Likes to surf and compete in triathlons in his
spare time… Has four siblings – Jack (25),
Joseph (24), I.V. (22) and Ashley (19), who is a
member of the Falcon women’s water polo team
this season… Is the son of Jack and Donna
Arambula… Born in Whittier, CA on November 29,
1988….. |
