In 23 games,
he scored five goals with six assists for 16 points,
which were the third most on the team… Scored once in
the tie game with East Los Angeles College that
propelled the team to the playoffs… Accounted for the
team’s lone goal in the third minute against Los Angeles
Harbor College and picked up a tally and a helper in a
win over Compton College… Also assisted on the lone goal
in a 1-0 win over Chaffey College… Scored 23 goals with
eight assists his senior year in high school to lead his
team to the Eastern League and City championships… Was a
2nd Team All-League selection, while earning
1st Team All-City honors… Spent just one
season on the soccer team and helped them to a 21-5-4
record… Played on the junior varsity football team as
a sophomore and scored one touchdown… Most memorable
moment was when he scored the first goal in South Gate
High history in a City championship game against Fremont
High… Would like to transfer to UC Riverside… Likes to
ride his motorcycle in his spare time… Nicknamed “J-Lo”…
Has three siblings – Ronald (25), Kenneth (15) and
Gissele (6)… Is the son of Ricardo and Ana Lopez… Born
in Los Angeles, CA on June 25, 1987….. |
