Named his team’s Most Valuable Player as
a senior after allowing just one goal all season… Also
named 1st Team All-San Gabriel Valley League
after earning 2nd Team honors his junior
year… Recorded 12 saves as a junior… While on the
baseball team, he was named 2nd Team All-SGVL
as a senior, as the team advanced to the quarter-finals
of the CIF playoffs… Most memorable moment was playing
goalkeeper in his team’s 2-1 win over rival Warren High…
Would like to transfer to Cal State Northridge… Likes to
draw and serve as a DJ in his spare time… Nicknamed
“Mute”… Has two siblings – Adrian (17) and Karian (10)…
Is the son of Mario and Maria Mendez… Born in Compton,
CA on February 27, 1988….. |
