Cerritos (2006):
Played in 19 games and scored two goals… His two
goals were both in the post-season, with the
second being the lone goal in a 1-0 win over
Taft College in the state championship game…
Came on in the 32nd minute and was
immediately involved in the play, scoring in the
35th minute of the game… Same
situation in the team’s 3rd Round
Regional Playoff win over El Camino College that
sent the team to the Final Four… In that game,
he came on late and scored on a loose ball in
the 88th minute to account for the
only goal of the game…
Bell HS:
Spent four seasons on the soccer team… Named his
squad’s Most Valuable Player and earned
All-Eastern League honors as a senior… Also the
Team Captain and led the team in scoring and
assists that year… As a sophomore, he was voted
the team’s Best Newcomer and Most Improved… Also
led them in assists that year… Helped the team
advance to the City Section semi-finals one
season…
Personal:
Most memorable moment was when he scored three
goals and added two assists in a game against
Southeast High… Would like to transfer to any
Division I or Division II school… Likes to play
soccer in his spare time… One of his brothers
played soccer at East Los Angeles College, while
his sister also played soccer in college…
Nicknamed “Frankie”… Has four siblings – Jose
(28), Norma (27), Miguel (26) and Danny (10)…
Is the son of Miguel and Alicia Huerta… Born on
July 7, 1988….. |
