Cerritos (2006): Saw action in 25 games and scored two goals, while adding five assists, which were the fourth most on the team… Picked up an assist on the team’s first goal in a 3-1 Regional Playoff win over Santa Barbara City College… Scored the game’s lone goal in a 1-0 win over El Camino College in the final conference game… Scored once in a 4-1 win over East Los Angeles College… Assisted on a key goal in a 2-1 win over Long Beach City College…

Montebello HS: Played for the DBWV Soccer Club in the Premier League… Named the Almont League Most Valuable Player as a senior and led the league in assists… Also helped his team to the league championship and was voted his team’s Most Valuable Player... Also spent a season on the basketball, cross country and track and field teams… As a junior, he was named the basketball team’s Most Valuable Player, as they won the league title…

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he had two goals and two assists against Whittier High his senior season… Is working on a minor in international trading and would like to transfer to UC Irvine, Penn State, UC San Diego or UC Berkeley… Aspires to open a restaurant… Father played soccer at Cal State Los Angeles and at the semi-pro level… Likes to play basketball in his spare time… Nicknamed “TC”… Has one sister – Brenda (12)… Is the son of Rafael and Guillermina Mejia… Born in Monterey Park, CA…..
