Named 1st Team All-South Coast
Conference… Played in 26 games and scored one
goal with seven assists, which tied for the
second most on the year… Excelled at taking free
kicks and has the ability to hook the ball
better than anyone on the team… Known for his
leaping ability, as well as excellent passing
skills and corner kicks… Scored his lone goal of
the season in a 2-0 win over then-#1-rated Mt.
San Antonio College…
Chaparral (NV) HS:
Played for the Las Vegas Premiere League… Spent
four years on the soccer team in high school… As
a senior, he was named the region’s Most
Valuable Player, while also earning 1st
Team All-League and 1st Team
All-Sunrise Conference honors… Voted his team’s
Most Valuable Player and Captain that season…
Was an All-Conference and All-League player his
junior year and was voted his team’s Captain… As
a sophomore, he was named the area’s Gatorade
Player of the Year and helped lead his team to
the state championship as a freshman… Selected
their Rookie of the Year that season…
Personal:
Most memorable moment was in his senior year
when he scored on a free kick to give his team a
win in the playoffs and advanced to the state
championship game… Father played professional
soccer in Mexico… Nicknamed “Ivanator”… Has one
sister – Mariel… Is the son of Jose and Estela
