The
Cerritos College men's soccer team now knows who they
will be facing in the second round of the Southern
California Regional Playoffs. The only thing they don't
know is what time they will be playing on Tuesday. The
Falcons, seeded #2 in the playoffs, will face #7-seeded
Oxnard College (13-3-6), who defeated #12-seed Santa
Barbara City College, 3-2 on Saturday. The time of the
game will be determined by who the Cerritos women will
play in the second round, as they will both be hosting
on Tuesday. If the women play Santa Barbara City
College, the men will play at 11:00 a.m. and if the
women play Moorpark College, the men will play at 2:00
p.m. on Tuesday.
It will be the second time the Cerritos men will be facing
Oxnard this season, as they posted a 3-1 win over the
Condors back on September 18. In that game, freshman

Gerardo Torres (Norte Vista HS) scored a
hat trick to lead the Falcons. |
