After alternating the 2005 and 2006 seasons with the Cerritos College men’s and women’s soccer programs, Pat Rossi will work with both teams this year. From 2002-03, he served as the head coach of the Los Alamitos High junior varsity girls team before being promoted to the varsity coach from 2004-07. During his four years with the varsity program, Rossi posted a 70-18-13 (.757) record with three Sunset League titles (2004-06) and led them to the 2005 CIF Championship. That year, the team went 22-2-5 and was ranked #1 in the nation by Student Sports Magazine. Last year he was an assistant coach with the Cal State Long Beach women’s team and has also coached the Cypress Futbol Club and was also the boys coaching director.

    A graduate of Cerritos High, Rossi was an All-State selection and went on to play professionally for the Atlanta team, a 1^st Division “B” team in Buenos Aires, Argentina; Real Hidalgo, a 2^nd Division team in Pachuca, Mexico and Deportivo Tlanepantla, a 3^rd Division team in Mexico.
