Cerritos (2007):
Became the first Cerritos College player to be
named All-American after he was named to the
National Soccer Coaches Association of America)
NSCAA/adidas as a Community College Men’s
Division III 1st All-American Team…
Was a 1st Team All-South Coast
Conference selection and led the team with 14
goals and nine assists in 20 games…..
California HS:
Played in the Professional Development Program
and for the Fullerton Rangers in the Premiere
League… Was a two-time 1st Team
All-CIF and 1st Team All-Del Rio
League selection… Named the league’s Offensive
Player of the Year after being voted the
league’s Most Valuable Player of the Year as a
junior… Scored 20 goals and added 10 assists as
a senior after he tallied 15 goals and 15
assists his junior year… Selected the team’s
Player of the Year as a junior after his team
won the league title… Also played two years on
the basketball team…
Personal:
Most memorable moment was when he scored three
goals against Anaheim High in the CIF Playoffs
his senior year… Would like to transfer to
Loyola Marymount University and aspires to play
professional soccer in Europe… Likes to play
basketball in his spare time… Nicknamed “Paz”…
Has four siblings – Angela, Gina, Lisa and Aldo…
Is the son of Joel and Anita Paz… Born in La
Mirada, CA on January 5, 1989….. |
