Huntington Beach HS: Was a two-time 2^nd Team All-CIF selection, while he was named All-Sunset League three straight years… Posted 15 shutouts as a senior and also scored a pair of goals, while he had 12 shutouts his junior year and played every minute of the season… Started almost every game in goal as a sophomore… While on the junior varsity team as a freshman, he was named their Most Valuable Player after leading the team to the league title and playing every minute… Was also on the water polo team and scored eight goals as a sophomore…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he posted 12 saves in a win over Woodbridge High his senior year and when he played with a dislocated ankle against Santa Margarita High in a CIF semi-final game… Would like to transfer to UCLA… His father played soccer in Mexico… Likes to coach soccer in his spare time… Nicknamed “Geo”… Has one sister – Ruby (9)… Is the son of Ruben and Maria Hernandez… Born in Brooklyn, NY on August 11, 1989…..
