Long Beach Millikan HS: Team won the Moore League championship all four years… As a senior, he was a 1^st Team All-CIF and 1^st Team all-league pick as his team won the San Diego Cup… Also earned the Coaches Award… In his junior year they set a new school record with a 30-2-2 mark, while advancing to the State Finals as well as the CIF Finals… Named his team’s Best Midfielder and earned the Coaches Award… Also spent a year on the cross country team…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he was the only player on his team to score at the state tournament… Would like to transfer to either Cal State Dominguez Hills or Cal Poly Pomona… Is the younger brother of teammate Salvador, while cousins Tania Diaz (tennis) Alexis Orozco (basketball) and Diana Orozco (track and field) all compete on Cerritos College teams… Likes to play video games in his spare time… Nicknamed “Pri”… Has another brother – Jose… Is the son of Salvador and Esther Melendrez… Born on January 23, 1991…..
