| Was a member of the
Falcon water polo that advanced to the state
championships… Finished second on the team with 49
goals, while he also added 25 assists and a
team-high 65 steals… Was named 1st Team
All- South Coast Conference… This will be his first
season swimming competitively… Came to the college
with nine years of international water polo
experience… Played on the Cuban Junior National Team
in 1996 and by 2001, he was a starter on the
National Team… Was a member of the 1997 and 2001
CCCAN championship teams… Was named the Most
Valuable Player of the tournament in 2001, which was
held in the Dominican Republic… Team took third
place in the UANA Cup in 2005 and in the Pan
American Game… Played on two Junior National Team
and two Senior National Team championships… Most
memorable moments were when he was named the MVP of
the CCCAN in 2001 and when his team on their first
CCCAN championship team when the tournament was held
in Havana, Cuba… Likes to spend time on the Internet
in his spare time… Has two siblings – Pedro (36) and
Peggy (33)… Is the son of Jose and Rosa Ramirez…
