| Swam the first leg
of the conference championship 400-yard medley relay
team that was clocked in 3:37.02 and the 200-yard
medley relay team that placed second in a time of
1:38.46… Also came in fifth place in the 100-yard
backstroke in 55.76, swam a leg of the 200-yard
freestyle relay team that placed third in the
conference championships and on the 800-yard
freestyle relay team that came in sixth place… The
team came in third in the 400-yard freestyle relay
in a time of 3:14.03, while he also placed fourth in
the 200-yard backstroke in a time of 2:04.55 and
came in eighth in the conference championships in
the 200-yard individual medley (2:10.56)… Won the
Empire League championship in the 100-yard butterfly
and 100-yard backstroke as a junior in high school…
Posted a personal best time in the butterfly (56.34)
and backstroke (57.89) that year… Also led his team
to the league championship as a junior… Spent four
years on the swimming team and one season on the
water polo squad… Most memorable moment was when he
won his two league titles… Would like to transfer to
Long Beach State and study to be a speech
pathologist… His brother, Michael (24), also swam at
Kennedy High… Nicknamed “Tsunami”… Is the son of
Choi and Siu Tse… Born in Anaheim, CA on May 24,
1984….. |
