Was a member of the Falcon water polo team this past
season… Voted 2nd Team All-South Coast
Conference… Finished third on the team with 39 goals
and was second with 45 assists, while adding 31
steals… Spent three seasons on the swimming and
water polo teams in high school… Was the swim team’s
Most Valuable Player as a senior, while earning the
MVP award on the water polo team as a junior and
senior… Named the water polo team’s Most Improved
Player as a sophomore… Was coached by former Falcon
Joel Francisco… Most memorable moment was when he
scored seven goals, with six assists and four steals
in a game and was named the Los Angeles Times Player
of the Day… Would like to transfer to UC Santa Cruz…
Enjoys building and racing remote control cars in
his spare time…Nicknamed “A.J.”… Has two siblings –
Honesti and Gabe… Is the son of Armando Abrego…
