Will specialize in the butterfly
races… Attended the Pasadena Art center out of high
school… Spent three seasons on the track and field
team and two on the football team… Was a two-time 1st
Team All-Olympic League selection in football… Named
2nd Team All-League as a sophomore…
Recorded 25 touchdowns and rushed for over 100 yards
a game as a senior after he led his team in rushing
as a junior and scored 20 touchdowns… Named the Most
Valuable Player of the track and field team as a
sophomore and senior… Most memorable moment was when
he won a gold medal in the discus and shot put at a
track meet… Would like to transfer to Cal State
Dominguez Hills and aspires to be a kindergarten
teacher… Likes to surf and skate in his spare time…
Nicknamed “Articus”… Has one brother – Adam (18)… Is
the son of Art and Nora Romero… Born in Lakewood,
CA on October 23, 1984….. |
