Will serve as one of the team’s
divers this season… Was a red-shirt last season
after competing for the Falcons two seasons ago…
While in high school, he spent time on the swimming,
water polo, track and field, cross country and
soccer teams… As a junior, he was named the Most
Valuable Player on the soccer team… Posted eight
goals and 12 assists that season… Most memorable
moment was when he scored two goals with three
assists in the CIF Championship game against La
Serna High… Is working on a minor in sports medicine
and would like to transfer to UC Santa Cruz… Aspires
to join Army Ranger school and then study to be a
college teacher and soccer coach… Likes to play
football and paintball in his spare time… Mother was
a diver in high school… Nicknamed “David”… Has one
brother – Jose (20)… Is the son of Carmen Ortiz…
