Came in 11th place in the 5000 meters at
the Southern California Championships his freshman
year… Placed sixth in the 1500 meters and seventh in
the 5000 meters at the South Coast Conference
Championships… Also competed in the 800 meters
(2:01.56)… Spent two seasons on the Falcon cross
country team and earned All-American status as a
sophomore after placing sixth in the state
championships, with the team coming in 12th
place… Finished in 27th place in the
Southern California Championships after a fifth
place finish in the South Coast Conference
Championships, which earned him 1st Team
All-Conference honors… As a freshman he played a
role in the team placing 11th in the
state championships by posting a time of 21:19,
which put him 36th overall… Also came in
14th place in the South Coast Conference
Championships with a time of 22:36, as the team came
in third place… Named 1st Team All-Moore
League and All-CIF in track and cross country as a
junior and senior… Advanced to the CIF Championships
in cross country as a junior and senior… Had a
personal best time of 15:59 in the three-mile race…
Most memorable moment was when he turned in a
personal best time at the Home Depot Center at an
invitational… Was voted his team’s Most Valuable
Player two years in a row… Most memorable moment was

transfer to Long Beach State and study to be an
animator and work in 3-D graphics… Likes to dance in
his spare time… His uncle ran cross country in high

Brenda Johnson… Born in Carson, CA on February 12,
