Was a red-shirt last season… As a freshman, he
placed eighth in the Southern California
Championships in the high jump after tying for
second place in the South Coast Conference
Championships with a personal best jump of 6’ 4”…
Also competed in the 110-meter high hurdles (17.03),
long jump (21’ 7”) and triple jump (42’ ¼”)… As a
senior in high school, he was named his team’s MVP
in field events and their Most Improved Athlete…
Also played basketball his junior year after
spending his freshman and sophomore years at Norwalk
High… Aspires to be a firefighter… Nicknamed
“Joshy”… Is the son of Yolanda Muwwakkil… Born in
Inglewood, CA on March 25, 1985….. |
