Spent two seasons on the Falcon cross country team…
Had the majority of his high school success in
track… Named to the
Press Telegram
Dream Team as a senior on the track team… Broke the
school record in the 800 meters with a time of
1:54.04, won the league championship and placed
third in the CIF championships… Named his school’s
Athlete of the Year as a senior, as well as earning
the track team’s Most Valuable Player and Most
Dedicated awards… Won the league championships in
the 800 meters as a sophomore and also competed in
the 1600 meters… As a sophomore on the cross country
team, he was named his team’s Most Valuable Player
and led his team to the San Gabriel Valley League
championship… Was a member of the soccer team as a
junior… Was a member of the soccer team’s league
championship team as a sophomore… Selected the
school’s Best Freshman and helped the track team to
the league title… Most memorable moment was when he
broke the school record in the 800 meters at the CIF
Prelims and came in first place… Would like to
transfer to USC and aspires to be either a track or
soccer coach… Likes to be on the computer in his
spare time… Nicknamed “Tito”… Has six siblings –
Daniel, Leobardo, Claudia, Alicia, Gabriel and
Alejandra… Is the son of Leobardo and Alicia
Santamaria… Born in Chula Vista, CA on November 4,
1985….. |
