| Was a member of the Falcon
cross country team this past season… Earned
All-American honors with his fourth place finish
at the state championships and was a seventh
place finisher at the Southern California
Championships… Placed sixth in the South Coast
Conference Championships after winning three
straight invitationals during the season… On the
track and field team in high school, he recorded
personal best times in the 1500 (48.05), 1600
(4:28) and 3200 (9:43)… Was a three-time
Press Telegram Dream Team selection and
earned All-Moore League recognition three times
while running cross country… Was his team’s Most
Valuable Player as a freshman and sophomore…
Earned the Century Club Award and McDonald’s
Award as a sophomore… Posted a personal best
time of 14:57… Most memorable moment was when he
was ranked 14th in the state in cross
country and competing in the Junior Olympics in
the 1500 meters, 5000 meters and steeplechase…
Also placed 14th at the Woodbridge
Invitational with his personal best time… Is
studying to be an architect… Has three siblings
– Amanda, Jamie and Jackie… Nicknamed “Never
Tired”… Is the son of Tonya Sorenson… Born on
April 17, 1988….. |
