| Was a red-shirt last season…
As a freshman, he competed in the 100 meters
(11.70) and 200 meters (23.33) … Qualified for
the CIF Regionals in the 100 meters, 200 meters
and ran a leg of the 400-meter relay team as a
senior in high school… Posted a personal best
time of 10.7 in the 100 and 22.7 in the 200… As
a junior, he helped the 400-meter relay team
advance to the CIF Finals… Also played on the
football team and helped them to the CIF
Playoffs as a senior… Earned All-Suburban League
honors as a cornerback his senior year and also
returned kicks as a junior… Earned the track and
field team’s MVP Award as a junior, as well as
the football team’s 110% Award… Played football
for former Falcon Dusan Ancich… Spent two
seasons on the baseball team… Most memorable
moment was when the 400-meter relay team
defeated the top team in the league… Working on
a minor in physical education… Would like to
transfer to the University of Miami… Likes to
work out in his spare time… His cousin, Ken
Harvey, plays for the Kansas City Royals…
Nicknamed “Speedy”… Has four siblings – Ashley,
Aaliyah, Micah and Ryan… Is the son of Bruce and
Annie Emerson… Born in Long Beach, CA on May 24,
1986….. |
