| Was a starting tackle on the
football team this past season… Did not compete
in track and field in high school… While on the
football team, he helped lead his team to three
consecutive Almont League championships… Was the
freshman team’s Lineman of the Year… Also played
a year on the basketball team and helped them to
the league title… Most memorable moment was when
he recorded eight pancake blocks against Bell
Gardens High… Is working on a minor in criminal
justice and would like to transfer to USC, UCLA,
Fresno State or Arizona State… Father played
football at Schurr High… Likes to go off-road
racing in his spare time… Nicknamed “Igor”… Has
one sister – Josie (5)… Is the son of Phillip
and Judy Garcia… Born on September 2, 1988….. |
