The Cerritos College
men's track and field
team advanced five
individuals and one of
their relay teams to the
Southern California
Championships, which
will be held at UC San
Diego next Saturday.
Three of the five will
compete in two events,
with sophomore hurdler
Anthony Harbor (Bellflower
HS) winning the
400-meter hurdles and
placing second in the
110-meter high hurdles.
As for freshman distance
runner
Daniel Clifford-Sorenson
(Lakewood HS),
who placed fourth in the
10,000 meters, which was
a final, as well as
coming in second place
in the 3000-meter
steeplechase. Freshman
thrower
Devin Farrow (Valley
Christian HS) also
advanced in two events,
as he came in third in
the shot put and 11th in
the discus.
