Cerritos Cross Country (2007): Finished in 152^nd place at the Southern California Championships with a time of 24:45… Time was also good for 35^th place at the South Coast Conference Championships… Personal best time was 23:08 at the SoCal Preview Meet, which put him in 127^th place overall…..

Cerritos Cross Country (2006): Helped team place 13^th at the state championships and eighth in the Southern California Championships… Placed 146^th overall at the state championships with a time of 22:51 (4 miles) after placing 124^th overall with a time of 25:11 (4 miles) at the Southern California Championships… Was clocked in 24:14 and placed 42^nd at the South Coast Conference Championships, as the team placed fourth… Personal best time of the year was a 21:24 at the Santa Barbara City Invitational, where he came in 68^th place…..

Norwalk HS: Helped lead his teams to four consecutive Suburban League championships, including an undefeated season… Placed fourth in the league championships as a senior with a time of 15:26… As a freshman on the junior varsity team, he came in fifth place in the league championships… In addition to being on the cross country team, he also spent a season on the track and field team…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when his team had the top seven finishers in a cross country meet against California High… Is considering working on a minor in either art or history and aspires to transfer to either Cal State Long Beach or Cal State Fullerton… Is studying to be a college art professor… Grandfather was a boxer, while his cousin plays baseball at Kennedy High… Likes to draw and play the guitar in his spare time… Has one brother – Joshua (16)… Is the son of David and Maureen Aranda… Born on November 22, 1988…..
