Long Beach Poly HS: Attended Cal State Dominguez Hills out of high school, but did not compete in sports… Team won the State Championship his senior year, while they won the CIF Championship his junior and senior season… Helped the team to three straight Moore League championships… Was a 1^st Team All-League selection as a senior after earning 2^nd Team honors as a junior… Named the team’s Most Inspirational Player both seasons… Placed second in the high jump at the CIF and State Championships his senior season… In his junior year, he won the league championship, as well as the Arcadia Invitational championship…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was winning both the open and invitational high jump title at the Arcadia Invitational in the same day… Would like to transfer to either Cal State Long Beach or USC… Aspires to be an executive chef… Likes to go bowling in his spare time… Nicknamed “PT”… Has two siblings – Liz (24) and Alex (14)… Is the son of Lenny Armstrong and Nellie Smith… Born in Long Beach, CA on December 15, 1987…..
