Cerritos Track & Field (2007):
Competed as a decathlete last season… Placed
eighth in the Southern California Championships
in the decathlon with 5399 points… Also competed
in the 110-meter high hurdles, pole vault (13’),
shot put, discus and javelin (164’ 10”) as an
individual… Placed seventh in the South Coast
Conference Championships in the 110-meter high
hurdles and the high jump (6’ 2”), while he came
in eighth place in the pole vault, shot put and
discus… Best finish was in the javelin, where he
came in third place…..
Lakewood HS:
Spent four years on the track and field team…
Voted his team’s Most Valuable Field Event
Athlete as a senior and was their Team Captain…
Selected the team’s Most Valuable Player as a
junior… Won the Moore League championship in the
high jump as a freshman… Was primarily a high
jumper and posted a personal best jump of 6’
4”…..
Personal:
Would like to transfer to Cal State Long Beach…
Aspires to be either a firefighter or a police
officer… Likes to go surfing, wake boarding,
body boarding and snowboarding in his spare
time… Father was a track athlete and was
supposed to compete to the 1980 Olympics, but
the games were boycotted… Has one sister –
Cheyenne (16)… Nicknamed “White Thunder”… Is the
son of Steve and Kathleen Lewis… Born in Long
Beach, CA on October 13, 1985….. |
