Cerritos Cross Country (2007): Only competed in the first two meets during the season… Placed 185^th at the Fresno Invitational with a time of 24:24 after opening with a time of 29:10 at the Cal State Fullerton Open, which placed him 79^th overall…..

Artesia HS: Only competed on the baseball team his freshman year due to injuries… Named the team’s Freshman of the Year after batting .346 with 25 stole bases… Did not commit an error in the outfield all season… Most memorable moment was when he went 3-for-3 with a single, double, triple, two stolen bases and the game-winning hit against Riverside Poly High…..
